Budget Preparation Helper (for Municipalities) is a tool Co-Developed by KILA & Panchayath Help Desk. This tool help Municipalities & Corporations in Kerala to Prepare the skeleton on Budget and improve it by revision.

This tool can be downloaded and used for free.

Project Preparation Tips

This article is meant to reduce the tension of plan formulation in Panchayaths in Kerala.

The first step we should take is to find the funds

     for that first we should check the appendix IV of state budget. which is included in http://www.lsgkerala.gov.in


The second step is to fix the necessary projects
    for that we can use Project Preparation Helper Click Here
    Here type your fund in the page Validation
    Then you type the projects (necessary items, compulsory projects....)
    After that the validation will be adjusted after reducing the compulsory projects amounts.


Then enter the projects in the order of importance
    on entering a project the fund remaining will be shown on the top of project list

Then give the list to implementing officers

On Project Data Entry

   You need the microSector codes of each Projects
    to help you in that aspect
   Use Sulekha Micro Sector Codes Filter   Click Here

On Data Entry You need additional codes in 32, and 33 items
They are Assets in Construction and Purchase
 for that aspect you can get help from
